Everyday Life: Week 8

So sorry for my lack of posts! I was going to post on Friday but it was blizzard-ing out which does not make for very good pictures. And I had an exam & an essay for a class.

But, we have a new addition here at BLP headquarters =)

First Things First

Meet Elizabeth Caty Stanton! (Yes, I named my cat after a First Wave Feminist)

We've been talking about adopting for a long time and decided to go look at cats at our shelter yesterday. When we were told she was found in a box by a dumpster, covered in what they thought were acid burns, we had to take her. She's about a year old and had been in their care since September.

I had Lucy Mewurns (Lucy Burns) and Hillary Meowdham Clinton picked out as names too...but Elizabeth Caty Stanton just fit her.

Also, how could you say no to this?

[one of our good friends came over last night and she promptly commandeered his keys]

[new friends joined my stash!]
